We are a registered charity, managed by a Board of Trustees. Our venue hosts a variety of current groups and workshops, including yoga, pilates, Karate Kids, Slimming World, Chatty Crafters, Lindy Hop Dance, Cornish Wrestlers, Just Be, inTune Choir, birthday parties, christenings, and any other party bookings throughout the year.
Our community hall for hire in St Columb Major also has a large stage with theatric lighting and a sound system. We have facilities to host conferences, wedding receptions, and craft fairs. Our hall comes with projector screens for presentations, its own kitchen, and a sprung floor suitable for dancing and gymnastics. With a risk-assessed capacity of up to 160 people, we think you will find this hall a perfect venue for almost any small event.
Rooms for Hire
The rooms can be hired for one-off functions as well as re-occurring events. We welcome enquiries and are keen to help event organisers in any way we can. We are pleased to offer free parking and Wi-Fi at the venue.
The Main Hall
The Main Hall hosts a maximum of 160 people. The hall has an entrance foyer accessible by a ramp with a small cloakroom area. Off the foyer is a newly equipped modern kitchen and two toilets, one of which has wheelchair access.

The Vyvyan Room
The Vyvyan Room hosts a maximum of 50 people. This smaller room has a corner kitchenette with facilities for tea/coffee making. This room has level access. There is a cloakroom area leading to a WC with wheelchair access.

Fee: £10 per hour
The Monthly Community Market
We host a monthly market every second Saturday of the month - with craft stalls, fruit and vegetables, baked goods and local art. There is also a pop-up cafe on site, perfect for a catch-up. The Community Market is a great place to socialise and meet local people, and also to find beautiful hand-crafted products. You can book a table at our next monthly market and sell your fare here. Many popular youth groups make great use of our community hall for hire in St Columb Major. With its own kitchen facilities and stage, as well as ample room for many activities, presentations and events.
